Problem Statement
Many women, especially those from underrepresented or disadvantaged communities, struggle to gain economic independence due to lack of access to technology, digital marketplaces, and entrepreneurial support. Despite the growing number of women entrepreneurs they are lacking behind in the industry. Womeyn aims to solve this by offering a women-led, women-focused eCommerce platform that not only sells products and services but also builds a strong sense of community and support system.
Challenge
We have Identified 3 macro challenges:
Balancing Empowerment with Commerce: The platform is not just a shop—it’s a movement. So the challenge was to keep the brand tone inspirational and community-driven, while still being clean, modern, and functional like any eCommerce site.
Ensure Trust & Safety: Building a secure, women-only marketplace to prevent fraud and harassment. Establishing credibility so both buyers and sellers feel confident transacting
Maintaining a Global Touch & Appeal: With founders based in Australia but targeting global women, the design needed to meet European accessibility meaning clear typography, minimal clutter, and inclusive visuals while still feeling personal and warm.

Process
Research & Analysis
Research : We began our research by collecting data to understand who our main users are, what they need, and why they’re facing certain challenges. We conducted user interviews and shared surveys with women from different parts of society to learn about their mindset, goals, and problems—so we could build the platform around their real needs.
Research Findings
Women in developing regions lack regular internet access, and 80% womens face online harassment.
If female participation in digital commerce matched male counterparts, it could unlock $300B in economic value by 2030 across Asia and Africa
83% of small businesses have gone digital, but many women entrepreneurs still lack marketing and advanced platform skills
Pain Points Identified :
Limited Digital Access making it hard to use complex or heavy platforms.
Overwhelming E-Commerce Platforms which leads to drop-offs during onboarding.
Fear of Online Harassment or Fraud cases leading to hesitation in joining or trusting online platforms
No Mentorship or Peer Learning which leads to demotivation and helpless
Conceptualization
User Flows : Creating a user flow that outlines the steps users take throughout the ECG App to achieve their goals. This particular flow focuses on every step user need to take to fulfill his requirement.

Wireframes : We created wireframes based on client requirements, research insights, and all relevant information needed to shape the structure. These wireframes are designed to help the client understand the layout, user flow, and overall functionality of the website — what the user will see and how they'll complete their tasks.

Final UI & Design Handoff
Showcase : There are different sections for each flow, and I’ve designed them in a way that makes the layout clear and easy to understand for both developers and clients. This part also serves as a key showcase and designer handoff point in my case study — ensuring smooth communication, alignment, and implementation of the final design during development. It reflects how every interaction and screen has been thoughtfully planned for real-world use.
